I founded Government And Legal Solutions (GALS) in 2026 to bridge the gap between complex planning law, local government frameworks, and strategic public policy. For more than 25 years, I have operated at the intersection of law and public administration, helping clients navigate the regulatory environments that shape our built and natural environments.

At GALS, my goal is to take the stress and complexity out of planning and environmental law. Through my specialisation in planning, housing and development together with regular advocacy in the Land & Environment Court of NSW and various Local Courts, I focus on guiding clients through the complexities of planning disputes, merit appeals, regulatory compliance and government investigations.

My experience acting in both the private and public sectors for developers, builders, local government, state government and local community groups as well as in-house at Hurstville City and Georges River Councils has given me unique insight into understanding from a practical perspective how the NSW planning system works (or doesn't work!)

From 2022 to 2025, I had the privilege of serving and representing my local community in the Federal Parliament as the Member for Hughes. The local and parliamentary work provided me with additional insight into issues of concern for Australians, as well as understanding how to navigate parliamentary processes, legislation amendments and how in our democracy politicians can work "across the aisle" to deliver the best results for Australians.

When not working, I am an amateur historian, running around with my working dogs, trying to get to golf, softball or the gym, spending time with my family, friends and the local community focussing on issues in the Shire that I love as a life-long resident.
